What has been increasingly apparent during these challenging times is that connectivity is at the heart of bringing people together. With ever increasing bandwidth demands from 5G, Data Centres, Edge Computing and IoT, compact optical interconnections have never been more fundamental to maximizing network performance.
At ECOC this year, Senko is proud to present our small form factor connectors, suitable for all kinds of environments.
CS® is a next generation connector specifically designed for Data Centre 400G optimization. To accommodate the light-speed upgrades currently taking place in hyperscale DCs, the reduced size CS® Connector is not only capable of delivering low insertion and high return loss performance comparable to existing LC connectors, but with a significantly reduced footprint.
SN® connector is a new, duplex optical fibre connector using LC style 1.25mm O.D. Zirconia ferrules. This connector was designed to provide individual and independent duplex fibre breakout at a quad style transceiver (QSFP, QSFP-DD & OSFP) that is not only more efficient, reliable and scalable than the MPO connector but also at a lower cost to implement. Currently, SENKO has licensed its technology out to leading transceiver and connector manufacturers.
Also new to the family SN®-MT, a next-generation multi-fibre connector. SN-MT carries a maximum of 16-fibers in a single row ferrule contained within a regular SN connector footprint, improving density by 2.7X over MPO-16F and 1.3X over MPO-32F.
