heta introduces het.ENGINEERING and het.AI for more predictable infrastructure delivery
Created September 14, 2026heta has introduced two complementary solutions designed to improve the planning and delivery of fibre, utility and energy infrastructure.
het.ENGINEERING combines end-to-end engineering expertise with AI-enabled tools, validated data and aligned surveying and design workflows. By resolving constraints before construction, it produces stable, build-ready HLDs and LLDs that reduce permitting rework, delays and cost overruns. The approach has delivered rollout cost reductions of up to 25% and supported approximately 45% of Belgium’s FTTH rollout footprint.
het.AI brings this engineering discipline into a standalone intelligent system. Specialised AI agents support validation, planning and design quality, while evaluating multiple infrastructure designs simultaneously for feasibility, cost and constraints. This helps stakeholders establish a trusted data source, identify priority areas and flag low-return zones before committing investment. HETA reports potential rollout cost reductions of up to 35% and time to market as short as 1.5 years. Together, they enable faster delivery with greater certainty.
heta will attend ECOC 2026, and looks forward to meeting telecom operators, network owners and construction partners. To schedule a meeting, contact Emilija Borchers, Head of Global Partnerships & Brand Strategy, at Emilija.borchers@heta.eu
