Wholesale operator AllPoints Fibre Networks (APFN) has announced that it has opened its own full fibre network to its Internet Service Provider (ISP) partners in the United Kingdom.

Through its Aquila platform, the ISPs now have access to more than 370,000 consumer FTTP premises with symmetrical connectivity.

“Our network was built for getting full fibre out to more homes, through partners who know how to sell it, said Nisreen El-Kaloush, Chief Commercial Officer AllPoints Fibre Networks. “Bringing it onto Aquila means we can do that at speed, without adding any complexity for the partners already using the platform.

“It’s available through the same platform, the same ordering journey, and the same commercial model as everything else on Aquila. Simplicity will always be our focus,” continued El-Kaloush.

The launch reflects APFN’s focus on areas that have previously been underserved by full fibre, including Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex and Wiltshire.

The company has named ISPs Olilo and Onestream as some of the first partners to bring services to market across its network.

“It’s been a strong partnership to be part of, and having this access exclusively through Aquila means we can respond to demand quickly, without the delays of bringing on a new network partner,” said Steve Evans, Managing Director, Onestream.

“Early access to APFN’s Aquila Pulse trial has also changed how we support our customers, giving real-time visibility into network status,” added Liam Mulryan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Olilo. “As the UK’s fibre market continues to evolve, collaboration between network operators and independent providers has an important role to play in improving consumer choice and making existing fibre infrastructure more accessible.”

Alongside the network launch, APFN has opened early access to Aquila Pulse, a new visibility tool for partners on the platform. Pulse currently offers a network operations map and a service status view, giving partners a self-service way to check on network and service status without needing to contact APFN directly.
