OptoTest announces New IL/RL meters

Technologies and ProductsOptoTest has launched a range of Insertion Loss (IL) and Return Loss (RL) meters, which it claims is the fastest in the industry. The company says its OP960 meters are more than 30% quicker than its previous OP940 range.
The OP960 incorporates a new larger touchscreen with 35% more screen area and 70% more detail. IL and RL can be tested simultaneously with the results updating in real time, improving the overall user experience even when manually measuring simplex cables.
Built-in Ethernet capability makes the OP960 capable of distant remote operation when driven by OptoTest’s OPL-SDK software development kit, which enables users to create their own customised solution. There is also a standard USB interface for remote control from local computers.
