B2B German telecoms provider 1&1 Versatel GmbH, and German software manufacturer Infosim® GmbH & Co. KG, have entered into a strategic partnership for the delivery, implementation and future support of the StableNet® unified network and services management platform at 1&1 Versatel. StableNet® by Infosim® will provide assistance in network monitoring, configuration and capacity planning. The extent of the relationship will intensify in pre-planned phases. While completion of phase one is planned for 4Q 2020, further phases will entail new features which will be cooperatively defined and developed.
With one of the biggest and most powerful fibre networks in Germany, 1&1 Versatel is part of the United Internet Group and already serves more than 50,000 business customers. In addition to using StableNet® as a vendor- and technology-independent network monitoring tool, future cooperation will entail the incorporation of capacity planning, strategic network management, trend analysis and the standardised rollout of business services. With this partnership, 1&1 Versatel takes an important step towards network automation and standardisation while Infosim® furthers its commitment to the telco industry as a reliable and trusted partner for a wide array of unified network and services management solutions.
“Our fibre optic network is at the heart of 1&1 Versatel and on this basis, we implement high-performance networking solutions for our customers. With the Infosim® product StableNet®, we are introducing a state-of-the-art monitoring system with which we can further optimise our network and service operations and continuously improve the quality of our services,” said 1&1 Versatel CEO Dr. Sören Trebst (pictured).
