New appointments signal InCoax expansion
Created September 11, 2018Fibre extension over coax vendor InCoax, has announced the appointment of two new members of the management team as part of the company’s expansion strategy.
Håkan Rusk is joining InCoax as CMO with approximately 24 years’ working experience in IT, telecommunications and application markets. Having worked most recently at Fingerprint Cards, Rusk has held several senior sales, marketing and product management positions at ST-Ericsson AB, Ericsson K.K. Tokyo and Ericsson Mobile Platforms AB, and prior to that several roles at Enea AB.
Also appointed is Pontus Bogren, who becomes CFO. Bogren’s management experience comes from a range of different industries, having been executive vice president at Söderberg & Haak Maskin AB, CFO at Biolin AB and CFO at MCG Malmö Citytunnel Group AB. Bogren says of his appointent, “InCoax has made significant technological progress in recent years and is on the verge of a market breakthrough. I look forward to join efforts with the highly skilled professionals at InCoax and take part of the coming expansion.”
The announcements come on the back of Jörgen Ekengren taking up the post of COO in July. Ekengren has a solid supply chain and sourcing background from Ericsson, Sony Ericsson and Sony Mobile, with extensive experience in outsourced development and manufacturing, 3rd party logistics and operating in a global footprint. For the last five years, Ekengren has been responsible for Sony Mobile ODM/EMS Business working out of Taipei, Taiwan. He says, “I’m excited to take on the position and confident that InCoax has a great potential when we now go to market with the new much competitive In:xtnd™ product portfolio based on MoCA Access 2.5. Together with the team I’m determined to build a world class scalable supply chain to support InCoax growth plan.”
InCoax CEO Peter Carlsson told Optical Connections, “Their recruitments are part of the plan to strengthen the company and the management team, to gear up for rapid growth. We are of course also expanding outside the management team.”
Following the launch at AngaCom in June of its MoCA Access 2.5-based In:xtnd product line, which uses existing coaxial cable installations to transform in-building coaxial networks into multi Gigabit fibre extensions, InCoax announced it had entered into a partner agreement with INFRA-COM SWISS, a leading Swiss system integrator, which will deploy the company’s solutions.
