US Conec’s EZ Shuffle high-precision fibre management solution brings a unique, cost effective way to manufacture and store fibre shuffles in high density applications. The component design facilitates fibre routing meshes of up to 256 fibres and supports various configurations including ribbon fibre to ribbon fibre, round cable to round ribbon fibre, and round cable to round cable.
Precision manufactured slots in the base maintain fibre order during the shuffling process ensuring proper fibre routing in complex shuffling applications. The compact solution is ideal for storage on or under the host PCB or in a chassis backplane. Furthermore, the EZ Shuffle solution eliminates tight termination tolerances and capital equipment cost drivers associated with planar optical fibre circuits. The EZ Shuffle Fibre Management Solution supports up to 16 fibres per ribbon and up to 16 ribbons per shuffle. The casing is made from a non-outgassing, UL 94V-0 material and meets the requirements of GR-2866.
